Star City Sentinel
In a shocking turn of events, students at the local university have uncovered what are believed to be Mayan artifacts on a dig in Central America. With permission, several of these artifacts have been put on display in our local museum. This display is limited to several days only, before these priceless artifacts are shipped back to where they came from.

Central City Picture News
The Egyptian exhibit has come to Central City. A number of artifacts, found in the tomb of Imhota several years ago, will be on display for this week only before the exhibits moves to it's next destination. These artifacts bear a striking resemblance towards those put on display recently in Star City, leading some to speculate about ties between the Mayan culture and the Egyptian one.

National City Tribune
National City celebrates this morning as Metropolis' hero Superman saves a truckload of art, believed to belong to a lost African civilization, from fiery destruction. Eyewitnesses report several tires on one side of the truck all blew out simultaneously, and it was only the presence of Superman nearby that saved these priceless works of art from being destroyed. The art has since been loaded onto another truck, to make it's arrival in National City tomorrow to be put on display in our fair city.

Ollie perched on the roof of a building near the museum, his eyes scanning the streets. With the new exhibit in and so many in an uproar about how priceless these mysterious artifacts were, he felt sure someone would try and rob them. In his ear, Felicity was giving him a rundown about the artifact and everything currently known about it. Most of it seemed like it would only interest the people who had dug up the items. Yet Felicity seemed interested in it as well.
The rest of the team was off in other parts of the city, keeping an eye on things. He didn't anticipate much trouble with the artifact, so there was little need to have the entire team hovering about the museum. Bad enough he had to be here, if he was being honest. He was all set to leave when a flash of movement caught his eye. A spotter's scope revealed several dark figures coming up on the roof of the museum and heading for one of the skylights.
It was all he needed to move into action. He lifted the grapple and deployed it, listening to the whisper hiss as the high tensile cable shot out to latch onto the roof of the museum below as well as to stick into the wall behind him. Then he was swinging up onto it and gliding down as silent as the night had been around him. One man was already dropping through the hole in the skylight, and another was preparing to do so when Oliver landed on the roof, rolled, and fired an arrow at him.
One down, he thought inwardly, as cables latched around the man and he fell over to the ground. The cries as he struggled drew the attention of the other two on the roof, but Oliver was already among them, whipping the arms of his bow down to catch one in the back of the knee and drive him from his feet. A spinning kick clipped the other on the jaw and put him down in seconds.
Knowing one had gotten away, Oliver quickly fired a snare arrow to pin the two to the rooftop. Then he was taking a running leap to spin and fall through the opening in the skylight.
"Felicity, get SCPD on the phone, tell them there are three museum robbers incapacitated on the roof."
The floor rushed up at him and he fired a rope arrow into a beam on the ceiling, using the swing to allow him to come to a rolling stop on the floor below. Immediately he had an arrow knocked to his cheek as his gaze swept across the room. Whoever the man was, he hadn't be interested in anything here.
"Done. SCPD is on the way."
Felicity's voice came to him over the com unit in his ear as he began to look towards any sign that could direct him to the new Mayan exhibit.
"Overwatch, a little help here. Where am I going?"
Back in the Arrowcave, Felicity's fingers flew across the keyboard as she pulled up schematics of the museum.
"Head through the doors in the southwest corner, then go straight through the next doors, and down the nearest stairway. The exhibit will be through the western door in the room you come out in."
Already his feet were flying across the floor, yet still making barely a whisper. Special soles on his shoes muffled the sound, soft enough to squish against the hard surface of the floor so little sound came in the way of footsteps slapping. As he reached the stairwell, he flipped over the railing to pick up speed, coming down in a swing that brought him to the bottom of the steps below.
Ahead he could see the light flickering through the door she had told him to head through. Whoever he was, the criminal was inside. He moved forward like a whisper to one side of the door, shifting his head to peek inside. A man's voice came to him, swearing into a walkie talkie. Oliver grinned since it wasn't likely the man would be getting an answer any time soon.
"Hey! What are you doing in here?"
Oliver nearly groaned as a security guard's voice came from the far side of the room. He was already in motion as the criminal, already panicked by the loss of communication with his partners, whirled to raise what could only be a gun. A flicker of movement across the room and the clatter of the gun followed as the dart Oliver had flung stuck in the tender flesh of the man's hand.
Oliver was in the room and charging towards the swearing man, and on the way pointed at the security guard, who looked like he had been struck across the face with something.
"They are trying to rob the museum. Get on the roof and take care of his partners. I've got this!"
Not waiting for a reply, the man's good hand was already coming up and around with what looked to be a second gun. Ollie was far to close, so instead of an arrow, he dropped into a skid that bowled the man over and knocked his bow from his hand. A kick to the ribs struck him and he grunted in pain.
"Green Arrow, I have Spartan on route. He was closest. Just hold on."
Oliver shook his head as he came up, blocking another strike by the man. Felicity was overreacting. There was only one, hardly something he needed help with. Yet everyone was a bit jumpy with the fact there was a new archer in town. One that seemed hell bent on taking the Green Arrow down.
As the man swung wildly, Ollie blocked with his muscular arm, then slugged the man in the stomach. He skidded backwards so that even Oliver wasn't capable of grabbing him to stop him. The crash of glass sounded through the room, followed almost immediately by the unearthly wail of the museum's alarm system.
"Felicity, kill those alarms already!", Oliver snarled into his mic as he moved forward to take this guy down before anything else was damaged.
Even as he approached, though, he could see what looked like two of the Mayan artifacts on the floor, one of them lying in shattered pieces. More concerning was the fact that something blatantly metal, or at least it appeared to be metal, rested among the shards. Oliver was just about to look away when the object captured his gaze more fully.
Streaks of bluish light ran across the surface of the metal. There was no way this was anything Mayan. Was it something the robber had brought with him? Thoughts of an I.E.D came to Oliver, and he reacted more by instinct than anything else. As his hand touched the metal, however, a disjointed feeling came over him. The room spun around him and his vision swam.
Then the feeling past, and he shook his head. He still had a criminal to take down and.....the room was different. More disturbing was the figure in red standing not far away. Oliver didn't think about his hands being empty, so surprised was he.
"Barry? What are you doing in Star City?"
A noise snapped his attention to the side, making him think the would-be museum robber was rushing down on him. Instead what he saw turned out to be a pretty blonde girl. Only she had on blue tights and a red cape.
Oliver spun to grab his bow, only it was nowhere to be found. So instead he pulled an arrow from his quiver with one hand, even as the other flung a dart towards her.

Note: I'm sorry for the delay! I hope this was alright?
Kara Danvers eagerly watched popcorn inside a pink plastic bawl rotate inside her microwave. She swallowed; her mouth salivating in anticipation for the sweet, buttery snack. It happened to be movie night at the Danvers apartment, on a Friday night, as: Kara, Alex – naturally the first to arrive – followed by her significant other Detective Maggie Sawyer, arrived soon after. James, with a gigantic bag of potato chips was next to arrive, Winn, with his significant other Lyra Strayd whom hung on his arm followed in after. Mon El naturally the last to arrive, carrying two six packs of bourbon under his arms. J’onn opted to stay back late, at the DEO to monitor the computers watching the city for signs of criminal activity.
Mon El entered the room the instant the microwave timer sounded, it vibrated a light, high pitched noise. Kara rushed to place the bowl on the living room table situated between the sofa and the little television. She then skipped to wrap her arms around Mon El’s neck. She kissed him on the cheek, a small peck.
‘Eight out of nine’, Kara said, triumph filling her voice, ‘I call that a win for team us!’ she continued, with a slight disappointed that J’onn passed her invitation up.
No sooner had they all became seated, couples snuggled up on the floor at the front, whilst James and Kara and Mon El claimed the sofa, that Alex feels her phone’s vibration, followed immediately by the standard jingle of all phones.
The sudden change to a serious expression Kara saw on Alex’s face was all she needed to jump to her feet. Alex about disconnecting the call from J’onn J’onnzz, when everyone begun gathering around to hear what word their friend called about. Alex looked first to James; she gave him a subtle, knowing expression, a look only he and Winn could understand that he needed to become Guardian. She then looked at Kara, as Mon El stood a little behind her.
‘You will be needed at the museum’, Alex spoke to the two heroes, her girlfriend detective, and James in secret. ‘Something’s looks to be going down with the new exhibit that opens tomorrow.
Kara, had already torn her comfortable pajamas away to reveal her super suit, and jumped out of her window before James and Mon El even left through the apartment door. She flew through the nighttime sky; she rockets towards the National City museum. Flying low, and tucking her shoulder; she dropped her head, shattering the glass, and making her way through the museum corridors.
She landed; her boots touching soft against the floor. Supergirl brought two fingers up to her ear, ‘J’onn where are the burglars?’
The deep, gravelly voice directed progressing a slow-moving Supergirl through the maze of: statues, paintings, skeletal figures, and other priceless exhibits. In the large of the Egyptian wing to open tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 PM Supergirl saw the burglar. The hooded man in green-leather cladding rising to his feet when he too spots her from across the room where he stood. Supergirl having placed her hands at on her hips, and calling, ‘what is this?’ she asked a hypothetical, ‘maybe you should leave the costuming…’
That was all Supergirl could say before the man known as Oliver Queen – the hood, the arrow, and the green arrow flung what looked like a dart. The small projectile bounced harmless off Supergirl’s chest. She looked down, as it fell to the ground. Then she looked up, and arched an eyebrow at Oliver. She sighed, ‘I guess that means you’re new to the city’. Pause, she extended a joking hand, ‘hi, I’m Supergirl’!

What was quite a boring day in Central City would soon be turned on its head as the Red streak who once went by the name the Blur and now has become the worldwide phenomenon around Central City known as the Flash zoomed through the city, stopping only to grab his usual caffeine intake as well as gathering a whole tray full of coffees to take away as he took off towards his destination… Star labs. Once there, he walked into the hub and held up the coffees and said ”I brought coffee. Anything new on our situation with Savitar?” There was a silence in the room for a moment, a lot of stern expressions upon the faces of his friends which alerted him that something was up, so he put the tray down upon the bench near the computers and asked ”What’s up?” This question was soon answered by Cisco who just stated ”The new museum exhibit has a weird energy signature… Well maybe not weird for us but it is concerning granted our current nemesis Barry. Y’know, Savitar the all mighty Speed god? Yeah… Him he’s at the museum… I think.” That was all the scarlet speedster needed before he suited up in a red blur and then zoomed through the city once more, he ran through the museum, around the museum and saw no one there and then he noticed it, there was a weird light emitted from a crack in one of the knocked down statues, Barry stepped over to it, he bent down and reached his hand out which wasn’t a good idea as his hand drew closer he could hear the voice of his friend, Cisco yelling into his ear ”BARRY! Whatever you are doing… STOP! Barry? Barry?” Of course the connection to Cisco was soon cut off abruptly as the Scarlet speedster was enveloped in that blue light, it began to slide over his fingertips like a symbiotic substance, it seemed digital as his fingers started to pixelate into dust, then it moved up his arm, all Barry could do was scream ”AHHHHH! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!” Barry tried to use the speed force and run out of the museum to head back to star labs to get help but as he did, the blue light digitized him even quicker, it almost seemed like it was accelerated by the speed force. Barry would arrived at Star Labs not a moment too soon but since he had already been infected by whatever that blue substance was, his entire arm had vanished, right up to his shoulder, it was still moving along his body as half his right pectoral muscle started to vanish with the rest of him. Barry appeared before his friends who now looked worried about him as he looked like he would collapse but he cocked a half smile as half his face started to disappear before their very eyes.
The first to speak up was Iris who tried to move to his side but Barry stepped back to keep his distance as he simply said ”I love you Iris…” These words would be the last words he spoke as the blue substance completely took over his entire body and he vanished into thin air. However, that was what they would see, although Barry did not exactly vanish into thin air, he soon found that he had been transported through dimensions until he appeared in the National City museum right next to Oliver Queen, since Barry had already travelled through dimensional portals, he wasn’t disorientated, he was more so confused that there was such a device that seemed connected to National City somehow on his Earth, along with the fact that Oliver was actually transported too, a question popped into his head but before he could actually voice this question, Barry noticed the girl in blue and red, he cocked his head to the side and smirked before he stated ”We really must stop meeting like this, Kara. Wait… KARA?! What are you doing in Centra…. Wait a minute… Is this…? NO! No! NO! I can’t be here, I have to find a way to save Iris…. Long story, I really hate to leave so suddenly after my arrival but I have a lot of things to do so…” Before he could actually finish this sentence, he noticed the dart bouncing off Kara’s chest and he simply just shook his head before he faced Oliver. ”Ollie, you probably should stop before she hurts you. Like seriously, just stop. She’s out of your league.”
With that said, Barry would shrug his shoulders as he had no clue how he would return to his Earth and with Oliver stuck here with him, well he was going to need to play mediator between Kara and Ollie, besides this could be a fun vacation, right? The first thing on his mind now though was re-establishing contact with Star Labs, so that he could get Cisco to vibe them a portal back home, since Savitar was still a major threat to Iris and he was not about to allow her to end up dead because he was off on a vacation in National City… Oh wait, maybe he could have Cisco bring Iris here as that should keep her out of Savitar’s reach, right? That question was a tough one to answer since well who knows the reach of a speed god. Of course since he was here, Barry needed to keep his friends from tearing each other… Well one friend from tearing the other apart while the other one hopeless tried to find the weakness of the other. So Barry just spoke up again to break whatever ice was hung in the air ”Ollie, this is Kara, Kara this is my friend, Ollie. He’s the kickass Arrow that I told you about, kind of.”

Even as the dart was flying from his hand, Barry started talking to the woman like he knew her. Too late to do anything but watch, Oliver experienced a moment of shock as the dart plinked off Kara. She must be wearing some sort of protective layer underneath that costume, he thought to himself. He didn't particularly believe Barry when he said that she was out of Oliver's league, but that could be put aside for the moment. If Barry knew her, she was probably some sort of meta-human. Still, he made no move to approach her, instead shifting his gaze about the museum room.
"Barry, you mind filling me in on why you are here. Wherever here is?"
Oliver stalked across the room, feeling naked without his bow. His eyes scanned the floor as he walked, but there was no sign of it. No sign of anything from his fight with the burglars. Yet that wasn't right. What the hell was going on here? He frowned again when suddenly an alarm began to wail. Swearing under his breath, Oliver looked about. Nothing looked familiar from the blueprints he had studied. The sound of gunfire drew his attention though, and he was racing off through a nearby doorway, leaving Barry and Supergirl behind him.
He couldn't help but notice the words National City Museum on one of the corridor walls as he flew past it. He couldn't imagine how he had been transported to National City, or why Barry would be brought here as well. But that was something they could go over when all this was sorted out. For whatever reason, this museum, just like the one in Star City, was having an attempted robbery. Bow or not, he had to try and stop it.
Around the next bend and he had to lunge to one side as a masked man came barreling towards him. Two more struggled with what looked like a three foot tall statue. Beyond them, a fourth man was firing back at what looked to be a security guard. With only the barest moment to think, Oliver noticed the sheen of metal gleaming from a broken crack in the statue. A sheen that looked remarkably similar to the metal he had touched in Star City.
The man he had nearly crashed into pulled out a pistol and Oliver ran vertically up the wall, using the moment to flip around behind the two men with the statue, and execute a sweeping kick to drop the rear man before he could fire again at the security guards. Now at least he had something of a shield between himself and the gunman.
